Weekly Chapel Activities
- Prayer and Praise is Thursday mornings from 8:15-8:50 a.m.
LifeTeen is a high school Catholic youth ministry group that helps young people experience God in many different ways through prayer, games, team building and sessions based on the Catholic faith. LifeTeen alternates between École Secondaire Notre Dame High School and St. Joseph High School. We meet every first Tuesday of every month from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. See program schedule for details.

Edge is a middle school Catholic youth ministry program that is filled with fun, food, games, prayer, and sessions based on the Catholic faith. High school students have the opportunity to be Edge leaders through formation and leadership training. This program is run through Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools and the parishes of Red Deer, Innisfail and Olds. High School leaders help run these events.
Edge is every Tuesday at Sacred Heart Parish (except the first Tuesdays of the month).
Disciples Ready in Motion Evangelization (Drime) is a high school retreat team that puts on skits and talks for different groups and schools throughout the school year. Participants will gain leadership skills and religion hours, and work with a great team of students.
Want to know more about the Catholic Church? Didn’t finish your sacraments and would like to? Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) is a program that allows teens and young adults to learn about the Catholic faith with fellow peers! RCIA for Teens Retreat-Going Virtual
This was originally just for students receiving sacraments but will open this up to any students interested in attending. It will run virtually from Saturday, March 28 at 9:00 a.m. to Sunday, March 29 at 11:00 a.m. If you’d like to join, please email Jeannette Manser.
April 17 - 18 - this is an event where you don't eat for 24 hours and participate in various social justice activities. Students can do this from home and plugin for different activities online. If they want to participate they still need to fundraise a minimum of $50.00. Forms available online on the Youth Ministry Facebook page.
June 2 - Sports night (TBD)
June 11-12 - Final LifeTeen Event of the Year (TBD)
June 19 - Grade 12 Farewell and Alumni Party (TBD)
