Raylene Wimberley
Teacher: Chemistry 20, Science 10
This is going to be her 10th year as a teacher and she has loved every single day of it. Mrs Wimberley has been lucky enough to teach science in some capacity for all 10 of those years, including teaching high school chemistry overseas in an international school. She is excited to share her passion for science and chemistry with her students.
She was born and raised in Red Deer, but moved away to begin university in Saskatchewan. After living in another province, 3 other countries and one other city in Alberta, Mrs Wimberley made my way back home and continued her teaching career at the same high school that she graduated from (Notre Dame!) where she feels lucky to have returned to. When she is not working, she loves spending time outdoors with her family and dog.
