I’m so happy to be returning to Notre Dame this year! This will be my fourth year teaching, and September will be the beginning of my fourth semester at Notre Dame. I’m passionate about creating a classroom where every student feels welcome and supported as they grow as readers, writers, and thinkers.
I grew up in Edson and moved to Red Deer when I started high school, and I’ve been here ever since. When I’m not teaching, I love spending time with my family and my cat, reading (audiobooks count!), listening to podcasts, going to concerts, and attending Fan Expos.
"Fill your mind with wisdom, and your heart with grace."
As we begin this year, let’s remember that learning takes courage - to try, to question, to take risks, and sometimes to fail before we succeed. Curiosity will lead us to new ideas, and community will help us support one another as we grow.
We are truly blessed to have the opportunity to explore our faith as we learn together and to participate in a faith community that encourages us to live with compassion, integrity, and hope.
