Teacher: English 20-2, ESL, Spanish 10/20/30
Mrs. Letwin started her teaching career in 1999 at St.Teresa teaching Physical Education to grades K-6 and moved to Notre Dame in 2003 where she began to teach Spanish. She started teaching English a few years later.
Mrs. Letwin is originally from Chile and she came to Red Deer in 1980. She grew up in Red Deer, graduated from Camille J. Lerouge and then went to University of Alberta to obtain her education degree. She is married to Jason and her children are Matias and Sofia, who are her world.
Mrs. Letwin believes that building relationships with students is by far the most important thing a teacher can do. Without a solid foundation and relationships built on trust and respect, no quality learning will happen.
