Teacher: Physics 20, Physics 30

Mrs. Hunter has been teaching at Notre Dame for the past 17 years. She has a Bachelor of Science with a major in Physical Sciences and a minor in Mathematics, and a Bachelor of Education which brought her to teaching. She was hired at ND straight out of university and have called it home ever since. It has been an amazing school community to be apart of.

She grew up on a cattle and grain farm north-east of here near a town called Meeting Creek. Much of her love for the sciences came from working on the farm, as well as from competing in sports. She now has 3 kids and a husband that love to be active as well. Every spare moment you will find them biking, hiking or just enjoying the outdoors however they can.

She hopes that each of her students leaves her classroom with a new set of lenses for viewing the world. Be curious, ask questions, wonder about the world around you. As Einstein once said, "I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious!"
